A Thalidomide lawsuit involving over one hundred people form Australia and New Zealand and settled according to news sources. New Thalidomide Birth Defect Information Prompts New Lawsuits

In the 1950s and 1960s, thousands of babies were born with horrible birth defects, such as limb malformations, after their mothers ingested the drug thalidomide during pregnancy. Thalidomide was used to treat morning sickness, anxiety, or insomnia.
