Cook IVC Filter Lawsuits Centralized in Southern Indiana MDL
The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ruled to consolidate all pending federal Cook IVC filter lawsuits in a multidistrict litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. At the time of its filing, the litigation included 27 Cook IVC filter lawsuits pending in eleven districts. Since then, the case count has risen to approximately 100.

Plaintiffs File Motion to Consolidate Bard IVC Lawsuits
Plaintiffs in Bard inferior vena cava (IVC) filter lawsuits have filed a motion to consolidate their cases before a single judge in a multidistrict litigation. A group of plaintiffs appeared before the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, requesting coordinated pretrial proceedings in Texas or Nevada for at least 25 Bard IVC filter lawsuits in 22 federal jurisdictions. Hundreds of additional lawsuits are expected to be filed in the coming months.

FL Judge Allows New Testimony in Bard IVC Filter Lawsuit
