Problems drag down J&J profits for quarter

Johnson & Johnson, the worlds’ largest maker of health care products, has announced that its first-quarter profits were down, but that its earnings nevertheless beat analysts’ estimates.

Lawyer says hip implant victim entitled to $5M

A woman who received a faulty hip implant that had to be replaced after only three years should get at least $5 million from the company that manufactured it, her lawyer told a Chicago jury.
